The discussion will be about various archives, the cause of damage to archives, archival arrangement measures, ways of maintenance records, how to care records, securing execution of archives and equipment used for archival storage on PT ASKES (Persero) Regional VI Semarang.

The aim of final project was to determine how to keep and maintain records safety at the PT ASKES (Persero) Regional VI Semarang.

The data collected were primary and secondary which were obtained through interviews, internet research and literature studies.

The various archives in PT ASKES (Persero) Regional VI Semarang were the letters and electronic archives. The causes of damage to archives consisted of internal factors and external. The records of maintenance performed on archival paper in a way that is stored in the archive file is given a box of mothballs to prevent moth insect and animal damage. Maintenance of records in PT ASKES (Persero) Regional VI Semarang conducted as well as archives of environmental factors in the maintenance of physical and electronic archive records. Security archive includes aspects of security to protect records from theft of physical security to provide protection from destruction by human factors, factors insects (insects) factors and chemical factors. Equipment for storing archival are binders, filing cabinets, box files, archive shelving.
