Developing PT Agung Teknik Rental's Accounting Software (ATLAS) for Rental Information System and Financial Statement

PT Agung Teknik Rental is a company engaged in the rental of heavy equipment, transportation, contractors, handling, repositioning, and reconstruction operating in the Java Island area. Operational activities at PT Agung Teknik Rental are carried out semi-manually, which becomes an obstacle in its business activities, namely recording and calculating rental and billing transactions and making reports by inputting manual calculations into the computer in reports that cannot be done accurately and in real-time. This study aims to develop accounting software for rental information system and financial statements. Making the system leads to the company's needs by looking at the company's initial business processes and then making the business processes computerized. The system development method used in this research is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which consists of three stages: Requirement Planning, RAD Design Workshop, and Implementation. This application uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (VB10), MySQL database, and the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results obtained from the accounting software can generate information in the form of rental reports, receivable reports, and financial statements, consisting of income statements, statements of changes in equity, cash flow statement, and balance sheets.
