This research aims to analyze the assessment and development of capital factors at PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk for the period of 2018-2022.
The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the published financial reports of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk for the period of 2018-2022. The type of research used is quantitative research with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used are documentation technique and data analysis technique using capital ratio analysis based on the Financial Services Authority Circular Letter Number 14/SEOJK.03/2017 concerning the Rating of Commercial Bank Soundness Levels. Assessment of capital includes bank capital adequacy including capital adequacy ratio (CAR) and capital management.
The capital results of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk for the period of 2018-2022 show that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) is ranked 1 which means Excellent. The ratio of Core Capital (Tier 1) to RWA shows the similar results i,e. Excellent. Problematic Productive Assets minus Allowance for Impairment Losses of Problematic Productive Assets to Core Capital and General Reserves show the predicate of Good. Low-Quality Assets reduced by Low-Quality Assets Impairment Losses on Core Capital and General Reserves show the predicate of Fair.
