The Influence of Job Security, Internal Communication, and Competence on Job Satisfaction among Employees’ Related to Export Activities at PT Asia Pacific Fibers Tbk. = The Influence of Job Security, Internal Communication, and Competence on Job Satisfaction among Employees’ Related to Export Activities at PT Asia Pacific Fibers Tbk.

This research examines the decline 30% in export market sales over the past three years, which has led to increased 82% of job insecurity among employees. This research aims to understand the extent to which job security, limited access to communication, and employee competence levels influence their job satisfaction. The study is quantitative, utilizing questionnaires distributed to 135 respondents selected through purposive sampling, focusing on employees involved in export activities, with a data return rate of 94.8%. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS-20, including tests for validity, reliability, classical assumptions, and multiple regression analysis. The research results indicate that Job Security significantly affects job satisfaction with a coefficient of β 0.139, Internal Communication significantly affects job satisfaction with a coefficient of β 0.086, and Competence significantly affects job satisfaction with a coefficient of β 0.177. This study contributes to Attribution Theory by exploring these variables and offers managerial insights into the causes of high job insecurity, unmet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, and ineffective internal communication.
