" The implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility ( CSR ) Environmental Activity and Social Service at PT Djarum Kudus , Central Java "
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an activity of the company where the company has a responsibility to devote himself to the welfare of society and the environment. PT Djarum is one of the company that has a corporate social responsibility or CSR is called Djarum Foundation. PT Djarum is a company engaged in the field tobacco industry to manage and utilize the natural resources in the form of industrial plants of tobacco as raw material production. Besides, Djarum Foundation have contributed in moving the national economy such as, growing industry related services, the provision of the industry, and employment.
PT Djarum Kudus has implemented 5 CSR program that Activity Education, Sports Activity, Activity Environmental, Social Activity and Cultural Activity. Because it is too extensive to be discussed all then only discussed two programs: Environmental and Social Activity Bakti the implementation include: targets CSR program Activity Environmental and Social Service, terms and conditions of acceptance of CSR programs Activity Environment and Social Activity, the flow of program planning CSR Environmental Activity and Social Activity, as well as the benefits and impact of the CSR program Activity Environmental and Social Activity. This final project is written descriptively. The data resources are primary and secondary data obtained from interview, observation, and literatur study.
Implementation of corporate social responsibility / CSR PT Djarum overall has a positive influence on society, both local communities around the company operates as well as to the Indonesian society in general. This is manifested in the increase quality of life that includes a variety of fields, among others, social, sports, environment, education, and culture. But the implementation of corporate social responsibility / CSR PT Djarum does not give effect to the development of society (Comunity Development) in an effort to improve people's lives around the company operates.
