During this several period, the production of Gum Rosin produced by Perum Perhutani as the only producer has given good contribution for the export development of Gum Rosin, Indonesia. The domestic sales is inclined to down, it happens caused the existence of the substitution products for manufacturing the raw material of soap and the wane of industry’s buying power. This study is trying to examine the factors that affect the number of Gum Rosin export. To understand whether the factor of Gum Rosin domestic price affect the number of Gum Rosin export, to understand the number of Gum Rosin production factors affect the number of Gum Rosin export, to understand the export price factor affect the number of Gum Rosin export, to understand the domestic sales factor affect the number of Gum Rosin export, to understand the exchange rate value factor affect the number of Gum Rosin export.
The extent in this research covers KBM GT 1 Perum Perhutani Mranggen. For analyzing, this research uses The Perum Perhutani data time series, begins from 2010-2014. The resource used comes from the production report and the sales report. The method used as the analyze instrument is multiple regression method.
The result of this research shows that variable of Gum Rosin domestic price, the number of Gum Rosin production, the Gum Rosin export price, the Gum Rosin domestic price and the exchange rate of rupiah, significantly effects toward the number of Gum Rosin export in Perum Perhutani. The result of the research identified the flow of Gum Rosin based on the market share, for all this time, the major market share of Gum Rosin Perum Perhutani is India, but still lost out to China.
