GRASIA Hotel Semarang is a popular three stars in Semarang city. GRASIA Hotel Semarang always tries to improve its service quality to provide satisfaction to its customers. One of the ways GRASIA Hotel Semarang to provide satisfaction service is by applying precise and proper communication. The objective of this report is to find out secretariat tasks at GRASIA Hotel Semarang.
Data collecting methods used in writing of this review were interview, observation, and literature study. The data were primary and secondary data the report was written descriptively.
The secretariat at GRASIA Hotel Semarang is a division which has secretarial tasks that support the communication in the company. There are three kinds of communication taken place in the Hotel: The written communication, oral communication, and mixed communication. The secretarial tasks that support the written communication are writing reports and letter administration. The secretarial tasks that support the oral communication are handling visitors and telephone calls. The secretarial tasks that support the mixed communication are to make itinerary report.
